The Essential Benefits of 5G Technology and Phased Arrays
The 5G in 5G technology simply means the fifth generation of broadband wireless networks. It is the successor to the more familiar 4G network which most people currently use.
5G is projected to have approximately 4.4 billion users by 2027 and to be nearly fully deployed by 2030.
Deploying 5G technology is no small feat. It requires a
completely new infrastructure, including replacing the existing
base stations and access points. This means the existing equipment on wireless towers will eventually be replaced by new equipment that conforms to 5G standards.
